Discussion | Captain America 4: Brave New World

So Captain America: Brave New World was released on February 14, I finally saw it this past week so I figured I'd start the discussion for it. I'll attach my comment in order for anyone to avoid spoilers.

Okay so I did actually enjoy the film - but I also felt it was missing something? IDK... and I was so pissed at the lack of Betty Ross/Liv Tyler. She briefly appears in one scene, with barely any lines. Ugh. I was too hopeful for more apparently. Maybe there are some deleted scenes?

Sam Wilson as Cap is really good, I did like the updates to the costume, since it's like the only way I could believe he'd survive being hit by the Red Hulk. I apologize, but I do really miss Chris Evans as Cap (and technically Johny Storm but yeah...) and I'll probably always will. The new Falcon I did enjoy a lot, and I think it helped that rewatched the Falcon & Winter Soldier miniseries before seeing the film so I had more context for the character.

I was surprised by the appearance of Bucky though! ♥ Yay can't wait to see him in Thunderbolts* I'm confused as all hell about the running for senator thing so I want that explained.

Also really enjoyed Ruth Bat-Seraph although I wish she had more fight scenes. I looked up the character's comics history and I'm hopeful they will continue the character despite Ross not being president anymore. Maybe part of the new Avengers??? I do hope they eventually reveal she is also a mutant, and not just ex-Black Widow.

Also it's fun that they finally referred back to events that happened in the Eternals movie, and I did not expect them to announce adamantium element ♥ so one step closer to the X-Men in the MCU (I'm impatiently waiting if you can't tell).
